| Nice work passing my original flame mod off as your own. Bravo.
PS: This is why I said I'd only be giving it to people with the creativity to do something with it.

| Do you really want me to point out where you left black splotches from my original graphics? Or the PM where I sent you the mod originally? | |

http://www.mediafire.com/?kn2mtnrgiqj Looks better IMO Tim i've been meaning to ask you, do you know the .obj for the boosters on the original Exorcist? I'm going to download an old AR client and use the older boosters for it [As the old, big cyan boosters were the shit] If you don't thanks anyway. Also, i was wondering if you could send me a PM with instructions on how to read the .txts your extractor outputs from effectinfo and objectinfo.ini. I can learn how to edit them myself, if i knew what they actually said instead of pure gibberish. You said not to ask for help on Suba forums, but i'd really like to know haha. If you don't want to share that yet, i understand and ill just drop the subject, but i'd really like to learn that. TIA~ Happy flying!

| From what it sounds like, you edited his version? If so, you still gotta give him credit. You can say "Tim made this but I did this to it". *Note example* Prophett made riita's interface mod compatible with AO, but he's not calling it his own. | |

TIA~ Happy flying! Send me a SS of the boosters while full boosting, coming out of boost, and cruising, and I'll try to find them later tonight. There isn't really a way to read the extractor output. Some of the stuff you can figure out by experimenting, but of course I've already done the hard part and made a tool that will invert the alpha on res-eff or res-obj files in effectInfo.inf. http://dev.savethen.org/convertalphainf.php What you do is figure out what you want flipped to white alpha (assuming it's black at the moment), put your effectInfo.inf in there, and put the IDs you want to invert (multiples separated by commas). Once you do that, white should be your transparency. No guarantee it'll work on everything, but if you see red error text, send me the header output it generates and I'll check it out.

| <33333333333 Thank you so freakin much. Getting to work on Exorcists booster SS's right now. Let me turn on my desktop. Edit Oneee: Also do you have MSN or AIM tim? Edit Twooo: Here are the SS's Cruising Back: Cruising Side: Boosting Back: Boosting Side: Hard to catch it falling out of boost since the flames are so tiny. | |

My AIM is yayfortheepoch. I'll try to be on at night, but just got a new job so have to kind of focus on that more, which means not nearly as much modding as was going on. But I'll try and nab these right now and at the least get you the file IDs. Thank you And i'll add you on AIM lol. Looking forward to it and thank you so much =D Edit: Also i know that you are focused on optimizations at the moment, but just wondering if it were going to be possible to have the slipstreams on the gears back when you're just cruising. And thank you so much for the optimizations, my fps has gone up to 15 in MS [Up from about 3] and i can war with about 23-28 FPS in larger wars.

| Haven't had a chance to get the exo IDs yet, will try to work on it tomorrow. As for slipstreams, it looks to be somewhat complex, but I will try to get a start on it. | |

| I'd like to know what you mean when you say slipstream. I keep hearing about it, and as long as I've played this game, I don't think I've seen anything like that. | |

You know when you get the white lines coming off your wings when you boost? Well the old boosters had those lines coming off the booster flames, but it wasnt just when you were boosting. You could be idling and still see the lines. They just made the engine flames nicer looking is all.

The actual trails coming out of the boosters are the slipstreams [notice how they stay when your just cruising and not boosting]
Everyone AFAIK loved them [they made the game look sexier in my opinion, especially with a fox binder. I would love to have them back

| I'd always referred to them as vapor trails. I'd love having those back. And I'd love seeing them get modded. | |

Also may be close to a slipstream solution.
